Super famous beef Yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo, as famouns as the legent "Nikuyama" (Too popular to make a reservation now). Probably it gets ranked in top 3 in Tokyo for Yakiniku category. There are two other branches but it looks like you just can't directly go to them but have to go through this original one first. Have your Japanese friend call them on the first day of each month (they only take calls then) to see if you can secure seats. These days it's nearly a mission-impossible as you'd probably end up calling more than a few hundred times to just get through....
Taste-wise it's absolutely impressive and you'd definitely feel it's worth the calling challenge. Good luck!
